Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

This policy applies to everyone who uses Marvo. It sits alongside the Terms of Service. If you break it, we may suspend calling or end the service.

You must not use Marvo to

  • call or message people you have no lawful basis, or required consent, to contact, or numbers on a do-not-call register;
  • keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop: opt-outs must be honoured at once;
  • pretend the assistant is a human, deny being an AI when asked, or impersonate a person or organisation;
  • make false, misleading or unapproved claims about a product, price, result or approval;
  • call outside the hours, countries or caller-identity rules that apply to you;
  • call emergency services or numbers that charge premium rates to the caller;
  • threaten, harass, pressure or discriminate against anyone;
  • collect card details, passwords, one-time codes or other sensitive credentials on a call;
  • promote anything illegal, or give regulated advice (financial, legal, medical) that you are not licensed to give;
  • upload lists you collected unlawfully, or scrape or buy leads in breach of the rules that apply to them;
  • attack, probe, overload or reverse engineer the service, or bypass its limits and safeguards.

What we do about it

We monitor for abuse and may pause a campaign, suspend calling or close an account without notice where we reasonably suspect a breach, a legal problem or harm to people or our telephone carriers. We may report unlawful use to the authorities. To report a problem, write to hello@marvo.cc.
